A: GBR does not conduct swim tests, but rowers must be able to swim. PFDs are not worn in boats.

Regattas are usually all-day events, and junior rowers are expected to attend all regattas for the season unless previously discussed with a coach.

Rowers are not allowed to drive themselves to a regatta. This is a club rule.

A: We're a bunch of guys who row boats together really fast.
