A: Building an emergency food supply is important for weathering a food crisis. Store enough food to last you and your family at least six months to one year, including canned goods and other nonperishable items. You may also want to consider starting your own small farm to help secure your food supply.

The courses are flexible and can be completed online, and the program is accredited by Rutgers University.

A: The main sponsor, Food For Famine Society (FFF), converts the points to RUTF packets. The calculation is based on:
