A: If you finance your catamaran, most financial institutions will require a 20% down payment. The charters will then cover all of your maintenance, insurance and even mortgage loan expenses and some. The rest is profit. After a period of 5 years you have the choice to sell the boat or continue chartering.

A: The best way to get to the charter base on Tortola is to fly to St Thomas and then take the ferry over to Road Town.

A: You can build a Raku catamaran using either strip planking or Duflex panels, but strip planking is the more traditional method. You will need some basic knowledge of composite construction, but it is not essential. There are some standard components that you can purchase, but we do not have a price list available at this point in time.
Q: What are some of the optional creature comforts on the new Corsair 880?
A: A 22” television, a 30L drawer fridge, air conditioning, and a hot water heater are some of the features that come with the Corsair 880. You'll need a generator or shore power to run them.

A: No, we do not recommend taking the tour if you are pregnant, have recently undergone major surgery, or have any known medical limitations that could affect your ability to safely board and disembark the vessel. Children 5 years and older are welcome, but we do not allow children under the age of five.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: If you need to cancel your tour, we require 48 hours notice in advance from your check-in time. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, we are unable to issue refunds.

A: It depends on the race and the host club, but in general you can expect to find overnight dockage and possibly an overnight bunk at the host club.
