NETBALL SEASON AND TRAINING SCHEDULE.

A: All teams train on a Monday or Wednesday night, at Richard Murden Reserve, between 4.00pm and 9.00pm. One (1) hour time slots are dependent on your coach's availability.

A: If you need to find fill-ins for your netball game, post on our Facebook page or get in touch with us at info@playnetball.com.
Q: How can I find new players?
A: The easiest way to find new players is to ask your current players if they know anyone who might be interested in playing. You can also look for people who are already playing the game, either online or at local game stores. Finally, you can try to find people who are interested in the game but don’t yet know how to play, either by asking around or by looking for online resources.

AGE GROUPS, SESSIONS, AND DRILLS AVAILABLE?.

Q: What age groups are currently being coached?
A: At the moment we are only coaching year 5 and year 6 girls, but we may offer coaching sessions to different age groups in the future.
Q: How many sessions are there to do?
A: We have a library of over 100 training sessions available on Train, and we will be adding new sessions every couple of weeks. There are a variety of sessions to choose from for teams and individual training - including off court and cross training, on court skills, drills and speed / agility style sessions.
Q: How many drills are there?
A: We have a library of over 400 exercises, skills and drills currently. You can use these to build your own sessions in the Train - My Sessions section. There are individual training exercises and netball based skills, plus hundreds of team and on court drills covering all aspects of netball performance.

A: Squad: Netball is a great training tool for netball players of all levels. It is a great way to improve your skills and learn new techniques. The app is available for both iOS and Android devices.

A: You must turn 7 years of age by December 2023 to be eligible to play.

GAMES AND COMPETITIONS HELD?.

Q: How long do the games last?
A: The AFLW is a women's Australian rules football league. It is played on a smaller field than the AFL, with 9-a-side teams. The season runs from February to March, with each team playing 7 games. The games are 4 x 9 minute quarters with a very short break between quarters and a minute break at half time.
Q: Where are matches played?
A: The Hinckley Diamonds Netball Club trains on Wednesday evenings at the Leicester Road Sports Ground complex in Hinckley, and competes in the Coventry & Warwickshire Netball Association League. Training sessions and matches are played on outdoor, all-weather courts.
Q: Where are competition games held?
A: The times that junior (7-15 year olds) games are held are 8.30am, 9.30am, 10.30am, and 11.30am. Cadets (16/17 year olds) and Seniors play at 12.30pm, 1.50pm, or 3.10pm.
