Q: How far is a decent run?
A: Running is good for you and you should do it.
Q: How long should I wait to run after eating?
A: The healthiest distance to run depends on your ability and what your body can handle. Experienced runners will be safe going for longer distances. But, new runners are better off building up gradually and aiming for a 5km distance. It’s better to run consistently rather than increasing your distance too quickly. Try to stretch before and after your run, and wait at least 30 minutes after eating before running.
Q: What is the gear & baggage check?
A: Drop your stuff off at gear check.
Q: What is the minimum age requirement?
A: You must be 18 years old or older to register for the Marathon, 12 years old or older to register for the Half Marathon, 10 years old or older to register for the 10K, and 8 years old or older to register for the 5K. If you are under the age of 18, an adult over the age of 18 will need to complete the registration process for you.
Q: What if my sports watch goes slightly more than the race distance?
A: The official race distance is the shortest distance a runner could take to complete the course. The distance on your Forerunner is the shortest distance you could take to complete the course. If the distance on your Forerunner is longer than the official race distance, it just means that you ran a more direct route.
Q: What is the inspiration behind The Color Run?
A: The Color Run is an untimed 5k race in which participants are doused from head to toe in different colors at each kilometer.

A: Yes!.

A: It's up to you and your doctor, but the powder is all certified non-toxic.

A: If you're not a developer, you probably don't need to worry about this. If you are a developer, please remember to include a "captcha" field in your forms to prevent bots from submitting your forms.

A: If you are running with a child, pick up a wristband at the check-in party.

A: There are two types of registration:

- General Admission - this is for those who are attending the convention and would like to participate in events, games, and panels.

- Vendor Hall Only - this is for those who are only interested in visiting the vendor hall.

A: You can pick up your participant packet at one of our four packet pick up locations on race week. Please visit the Packet Pick Up page for the most current information. If you need to switch to virtual, follow these steps NO LATER THAN MARCH 3rd.

A: The race will be held virtually and you can find all the information you need to know about running virtually on the race website.
