A: The best way to find out if your ancestor was in the Civil War is to look for their pension file. Pension files usually contain a lot of information about the soldier, including their service record, medical record, and sometimes even information about their family. You can order pension files from the National Archives, or from a private company like us.

A: We have a lot of public domain archives from all over the internet, and we use Photoshop to make sure the images are high quality.
